Building a bridge to the future.
AEPLOG hosted a group of Congressional personnel and senior military representatives on Monday, July 11, 2011 for the public debut of it’s new diesel powered Sea Truck near Deale, MD. A series of high speed maneuvers were demonstrated, both manually controlled and remotely controlled. The Sea Truck conducted a series of fully autonomous maneuvers, as well. A number of the VIPs had the opportunity to remotely control the Sea Truck demonstrating the ease of control and the maturity of the system.
The Autonomous Sustainment Cargo Container (ASCC), also known as a Sea Truck, allows standard ISO containers to be autonomously transported between offshore ships, designated beaches, and harbors.
